Aquila Media Productions came about because of Nancy Tappe, a woman who defines herself as "an ordinary person with an extraordinary talent." In 1986, she wrote a book called Understanding Your Life thru Color, an account of her life and perceptions as a synesthete. Although there was constant demand for this book around the world, it had gone out of print. Aquila Media Productions was formed in 2008 to restore her book to circulation and to assist Nancy with the publication of other projects. Today Aquila has branched out, and Nancy has continued her research and work with color and the human personality.
Now Nancy is the author of her original book and the co-author of three more. Aquila also develops and manages two websites for Nancy. Her newest project, Indigos: The Quiet Storm has just been released. Several more works are in development.

About Nancy Ann Tappe
Nancy Ann Tappe is an internationally-acknowledged synesthete, author, lecturer, and world traveler who developed her own synesthetic perceptions into a formalized, structured system of information. She is the only person in the world known to do this and then share her perceptions with thousands of others. In some cases writers and lecturers have taken her information and tried to make it their own, usually resulting in misinterpretations and distortions of her material, which she spent over a decade of study with pyschiatrists and color experts to develop.
